Do You Offer Music Downloads?

No! TrendyBeatz is a Music Discovery website, not a Music Download Website. We help you discover Music and stream it legally. There are options to either Stream on TrendyBeatz or to Stream Directly on the Digital Stores; both are Legal, as streaming on TrendyBeatz is done through the Embed feature of Digital Stores, so the revenue and stream numbers go to the artists directly, and we neither make, save, nor distribute any copy of artists' work.

The process and costs involved in the creation of Intellectual Creative works are not cheap or easy to come by, so we strongly believe that a creator deserves to benefit from his creation and copyrighted work maximally, and that is why we frown upon free downloads and encourage our fans and users to stream the Music legally instead of looking for free downloads. When artists benefit from and earn from their creations, they are poised to create more enjoyable works; circumventing their revenue discourages creatives.

Are your Operations Legal?

Absolutely, yes! We offer Stream via authorized and legal streaming platforms, embedded only, not downloads. We do not provide free file download services without the express written permission of the Copyright Holder.

It is already established in Law through judicial precedents that 'embedding' of legally uploaded copyrighted materials does not amount to copyright infringement, as long as only embedding is done, without alteration or making or allowing a copy to be made by the users. We do not host the files; the copyright owners legally uploaded them to the platforms we embed from. We embed freely available online content and do not bypass paywalls. We do not modify the works, and we do not enable illegal downloads.

Is there an exception? Can Artists willingly submit their Audio files to you for promotions?

Yes! We do not support free downloads, but we can publish an Audio file of any artist who wishes to make their song or musical work available for free download on our website for their fans, for promotional purposes, alongside their digital store links, or however the creator/copyright holder so desires. Any artist who wishes to make their audio file available on our website MUST do so in writing, either directly or via their verified Legal representative, without which we can't grant such a request, to protect our company from copyright infringement risks.

Artists who directly ask us to publish their audio files sign a mandatory copyright agreement before we make the audio files available for download. We also post a copyright notice on every post with audio files available to inform the general public and whoever it may concern that the audio files were published upon the direct and express request of the copyright holder/artist.
