Cheesy Vibes Biography: Chidera Victory Ogbuo, known professionally as Cheesy Vibes, is a Nigerian pop singer, songwriter, and performer who derives pride in his lyrical abilities.

Born and raised in Lagos, Chidera, 24, who is a native of Imo, grew up playing drums sets in his local church. A graduate of Imo State University (Sociology), Cheesy has, at long last, decided to go full-time into creating music that pleases the heart.


Cheesy Vibes, who has a diverse African musical creativity, is mainly focused on Afrobeats, Afropop, and South Africa's Amapiano. Citing notable superstars like Davido, Phyno, and Wizkid as major influences, his style of music is definitely not restricted to a single sound.

In 2021, Cheesy Vibes dropped his afro house single 'Anitaa' with Amapiano Madness, garnering over 2.5million streams worldwide. In 2022, Cheesy Vibes’ sophomore 6-track extended play (EP) β€˜Life & Fame’, released in October, portrays his background, success, as well as an anticipated rise to stardom. The extended play topped charts and achieved over 4million streams.

Throughout the years, Cheesy Vibes has cemented itself as one of the most prominent musical acts from Nigeria.
