Raised in a Christian home in the small town of Orhuwhorun in southern Nigeria, Innocent OG's formative years were spent in the tight-knit community. He attended Orhuwhorun Primary School and Orhuwhorun High School in Udu LGA, Warri, Delta State. It was here that his love for music began to take root.

In 2013, Innocent OG, then known as "KCent," started to hone his lyrical skills. His talent quickly shone through as he won several local rap competitions, marking the beginning of his journey in the music industry. Seeking to further his career, he relocated to Lagos State, Nigeria's bustling entertainment hub, where he rebranded himself as Innocent OG and made significant strides in his professional music career.
