“All the Money Goes to My Wife” - Peller Reveals What Happened to Millions Sprayed at His Wedding

Newly married influencer Peller has sparked reactions after revealing that all the money sprayed on him during his wedding goes straight to his wife, Jarvis, insisting that, for him, “we are one.”

Peller may have just given Nigerians a different definition of “what is mine is yours” after revealing that the millions sprayed on him during his wedding are going straight to his wife, Jarvis.

Newly married content creator Habeeb Hamzat, popularly known as Peller, has sparked reactions after opening up about how he handles money received during his wedding celebration. Speaking during a livestream, the 21-year-old influencer revealed that all the money sprayed on him at the wedding was given to his wife.

According to Peller, while people may assume that money sprayed on the groom automatically belongs to him, he does not see it that way.

“I see how much you spray on me. See, let me tell you something. Do you know, see, all the money that was collected on my wedding is going to my wife. I give my wife everything,” he said.

The revelation caught the attention of the person he was speaking with, who quickly reminded him that his wife’s money should technically be his money too.

“Your wife money is your money now,” the caller told him.

But Peller was having none of it.

“No, it’s not my money. Look, look, look, look, in Nigeria it’s not my money,” he responded.

“For Me, We Are One”

Peller then went on to explain his rather interesting view of marriage. According to the young influencer, he sees himself and his wife as one although he jokingly suggested that his wife may not necessarily share the same perspective.

“For me, we are one. For her, she’s… no, for me, we are one, for her, we are two,” he said.

The comment has since sparked reactions online, with many Nigerians amused by Peller’s explanation and others debating whether the money received at a wedding should belong to the person it was sprayed on or be treated as the couple’s joint money.

For Peller, however, there appears to be no confusion. The money was sprayed on him, but his wife gets it all.

And judging by his statement, the newlywed is already embracing the “what’s mine is yours” philosophy even if his wife apparently has a different interpretation of the “we are one” part.
