Veteran Fuji singer K1 De Ultimate has broken his silence after a woman publicly claimed he fathered her daughter, with his cryptic response now fueling fresh reactions online.
Veteran Fuji musician K1 De Ultimate has responded to allegations made by a woman who publicly claimed that the singer is the biological father of her daughter.
The woman, whose identity has not been publicly confirmed, alleged that she was in a relationship with K1 for more than seven years before becoming pregnant with a girl named Azizat. According to her, the Fuji icon was allegedly unhappy about the pregnancy and asked her to terminate it.
“We dated for about seven years plus before I eventually took in for Azizat. Though by the time I told him about the pregnancy, he said he was not interested, that I should abort it, that he would send one of his boys to me to give me money for the abortion,” she claimed.
When asked if she was certain that K1 De Ultimate was the father of her daughter, the woman responded confidently:
“Yes, he is.”
She further explained that she met the musician while working as a nail technician and hairstylist. According to her account, she initially provided pedicure services at her shop before eventually beginning to attend to K1 at his residence.
The woman also claimed that after her daughter turned one, she sought the intervention of the late Kabiyesi, Agba Akin, who allegedly contacted K1 over the paternity issue.
Following the renewed attention surrounding the allegations, K1 De Ultimate has now appeared to address the controversy through music. In a music video, the veteran singer reportedly sang the words:
“Any unplanned pregnancy is a free gift.”
The statement has since sparked reactions online, with social media users interpreting the lyrics as the Fuji star’s response to the woman’s allegations.
