Popular blogger and social media commentator Justice Crack has reportedly regained his freedom after being released from DSS custody, days after a Federal High Court in Abuja granted him 5 million naira bail in his widely followed cybercrime case.

Chidiebere Justice Mark known by many as Justice Crack, has been released after successfully meeting the bail conditions set by the Federal High Court in Abuja, following intense public attention and pressure from supporters and civil rights groups.
The court had earlier granted him bail in the sum of 5 million with one surety in like sum, while also ordering him to surrender his international passport and fulfill other strict conditions before release.
Justice Crack was initially arrested by the Nigerian Army over viral videos in which he highlighted alleged poor feeding and welfare conditions among Nigerian soldiers. He was later transferred to the Department of State Services (DSS)and charged with alleged cybercrime and spreading information capable of causing public unrest.
The case drew significant public sympathy, with many Nigerians and activists arguing that he was being punished for increasing legitimate welfare complaints from soldiers rather than spreading falsehoods. During trial, a DSS witness reportedly testified that some of the images and complaints Justice Crack shared were actually sent to him by serving soldiers themselves.
His release has now been celebrated online, with supporters calling it a victory for free speech and public pressure, even as his trial continues.
