Court Grants Blessing CEO N20m Bail in Alleged N69.15m Fraud Case

Social media personality Blessing CEO has secured bail in her ongoing legal battle after being arraigned over an alleged N69.15 million fraud case.

Social media personality and relationship expert Blessing Okoro, popularly known as Blessing CEO, has been granted bail in the sum of N20 million by the Lagos State Special Offences Court sitting in Ikeja.

The court granted the bail on Thursday as the controversial media personality continues to face trial over an alleged N69.15 million fraud case. Justice Rahman Oshodi approved the bail application after considering arguments from the defence. The judge noted that the court had a responsibility to independently assess the allegations against the defendant and the punishment prescribed by law before arriving at its decision.

Blessing CEO was arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) on June 9, 2026, on a two-count charge bordering on stealing and obtaining money by false pretences.

According to the anti-graft agency, Blessing CEO allegedly obtained N69,150,000 from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited in March 2025 under the claim that she would help secure the lease of a property in the Lekki area of Lagos.

The social media personality, however, pleaded not guilty to the charges.

During proceedings on her bail application, the court also sought clarification regarding her international passport. Her lawyer reportedly informed the court that the passport had been lost and presented an affidavit of loss alongside copies of public notices published concerning the missing document.

In his ruling, Justice Oshodi granted Blessing CEO bail in the sum of 20 million naira, with two responsible sureties required to provide the same amount each. The court further ordered that each surety must present either a three-year bank statement or evidence of a fixed deposit worth at least N20 million.

The judge additionally directed that the Nigerian Immigration Service be notified of Blessing CEO’s travel restrictions pending the conclusion of the case.

The case has now been adjourned until October 12, 2026, when proceedings are expected to continue.
