“Deny Tyla and Her Team Visas Too” - BBNaija Star Pere Calls for Retaliation Amid Xenophobia Outrage

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Pere has joined the growing conversation surrounding South African singer Tyla’s upcoming Lagos concert, calling on Nigerian authorities to deny visas to the Grammy-winning star and her team.

His comments come amid renewed outrage over reported xenophobic attacks against Nigerians living in South Africa, with many Nigerians calling for a boycott of Tyla’s scheduled performance in Lagos.

Taking to X, Pere urged the Federal Government to take a tougher stance, arguing that Nigeria should respond in kind to the treatment Nigerians have allegedly received in South Africa.

“We are collectively imploring you to deny Tyla and her team visas as well, intentionally. They can’t do this to our own and we welcome their own. Madness must match madness,” he wrote.
