Every year, the Ojude Oba Festival transforms Ijebu-Ode into a vibrant showcase of culture, tradition, and community spirit, and this year edition was no exception.

Everything That Made Ojude Oba 2026 Unforgettable

The Ojude Oba Festival is back and better than ever. The festival has once again proved why it remains one of Nigeria's most prestigious cultural celebrations. The annual event held in Ijebu-ode Ogun State has brought thousands of people together from across Nigeria and beyond in a colourful display of culture, fashion, tradition, and unity.

From the elegant traditional outfits, to the luxurious jewellery, to the over-the-top entrances, it was clear that this year's edition would be one for the books. The festival was filled with excitement as families, tourists, celebrities, and dignitaries gathered to pay homage to the Awujale of Ijebuland while celebrating the rich heritage of the Ijebu people.

One of the most captivating highlights was the stunning appearance of the various Regberegbe groups. Their coordinated outfits, energetic processions, vibrant performances and endless steeze added a unique touch to the celebration and as always, it was difficult to pick a favourite as every group came looking radiant in their group colour. Dressed in regal attire, riders showcased their horses in grand style; the horse-riding families once again delivered a breathtaking spectacle.

The celebration was once again graced by top celebrities, including the son of the current president, Seyi Tinubu, Eniola Badmus, Salami Rotimi, Akin Fanimu, Niyi Johnson, king of steeze, Farouq Oreagba and many other influential families. Social media has been flooded with photos and videos of attendees and many fashion enthusiasts have described Ojude Oba 2026 as a runway of culture and elegance. Beyond the glamour and entertainment, Ojude Oba 2026 served as a reminder of how important it is to preserve cultural heritage.

As the celebrations came to an end, one thing was clear: Ojude Oba 2026 was more than just a festival. It was a powerful celebration of identity, culture, and unity that left lasting memories for everyone fortunate enough to witness it.
