“I Cannot Live Without Michael” - Heartbroken Niniola Shares Emotional Wedding Photo, Questions God After Husband’s Death

Nigerian singer Niniola has left fans heartbroken after sharing one of her most emotional messages since the death of her husband, Michael Chiedu Ndika (Big Mike).

Award-winning Afropop singer Niniola has opened up about the devastating loss of her husband, Michael Chiedu Ndika, in a raw and emotional tribute that has touched thousands of fans once again.

Taking to her Instagram Story, the singer shared a heartfelt message expressing how much pain she’s been carrying since Michael’s death. Niniola posted a wedding photo from the couple’s ceremony in the United States and admitted she is finding it hard to live without the man she called her biggest source of joy.

God, You could’ve taken my kidney, an arm or a leg. You should’ve even taken me instead… But that one person that made my life worth it, You took away from me.”

The singer also expressed feelings of confusion and heartbreak, saying she and her husband had simply been living their lives peacefully. In one of the most emotional parts of her message, Niniola wrote:

“I cannot live without Michael.”

She explains that she feels overwhelmed by the loss, expressing anger toward God in words that many fans have described as the raw emotions of a grieving wife rather than a statement of faith.

The post quickly went viral, with many Nigerians flooding social media with prayers, condolences, and messages of support. While some urged the singer to remain strong and trust that healing would come with time, others said her words reflected the reality of grief, noting that people often express pain, confusion, and even anger after losing someone they deeply love. Since announcing his passing, the singer has continued to share memories of their life together, giving fans a glimpse into the profound bond they shared behind the spotlight. Her latest message has become one of her most heartbreaking yet, reminding many that behind the fame and success is a woman still navigating the unimaginable pain of losing the love of her life.

As condolences continue to pour in, fans across Nigeria and beyond are praying that the singer finds strength and comfort in the difficult days ahead.
