"I Hand Over Everything to God" – Jude Okoye Reacts After Peter Okoye's Latest Revelation
Peter Okoye, known as Mr P, released the fifth instalment of his tell-all video series, where he made fresh allegations against his elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye. In the video, Peter claimed that Jude threatened to shoot him during a heated argument over a jointly owned property in the United States .
According to Peter, the dispute began when he questioned plans to sell the property without his knowledge, and he alleged that Jude later presented him with documents that would have transferred his ownership rights to Jude's wife, Ify Okoye, which he refused to sign.
Peter also alleged that Jude had threatened his life on multiple occasions, including an incident where Jude reportedly told him, "If you are coming to my house, carry your coffin along. I will shoot you, bury you and nothing will happen".
He further claimed that one of the threats was recorded on video, while another was referenced in the letter announcing P-Square's initial breakup in 2017.
Peter stated that he was speaking out not to seek sympathy but to set the record straight and present his own version of events .
In a swift response, Jude Okoye took a spiritual stance, writing on social media, "Oh wow! Now these, bro? Fine, it's ok. To the Almighty God I hand over everything. You will be in my prayers. Shalom".
He previously dismissed Peter's allegations of financial misconduct, insisting that the issues had already been investigated by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and remain before the court.
Jude has also accused Peter of avoiding court appearances and attempting to sway public opinion while legal proceedings continue . He claimed that his accounts have been frozen for over two years and he has been unable to travel during that period
The dispute, which has been ongoing for years, has also drawn a response from Jude's wife, Ify Okoye. In an Instagram post, she refused to engage in public accusations, stating that she would not defend herself before those committed to misunderstanding her.
She wrote, "Truth does not need manipulation to prevail, and I trust God to vindicate what is right".
The feud, which saw P-Square split in 2017, reunite in 2021, and dissolve again in 2024, continues to capture public attention, with both sides maintaining opposing positions and no resolution in sight.
