Media personality and OAP Toolz has shared candid advice about marriage and family relationships as she reflected on a decade of married life with her husband.

Speaking during a recent episode of The Morayo Show while celebrating her 10th wedding anniversary, Toolz described reaching the milestone as a journey marked by perseverance, commitment and growth. According to the media personality, anyone who has been married for more than 10 years understands that a successful marriage requires a lot of hard work and patience.

“Anybody married for more than 10 years knows it’s not easy because they’ve worked through many things, especially those moments when you begin to question why you’re even in the marriage,” she said.

Toolz also spoke fondly of her husband’s family, describing her in-laws as incredibly supportive and crediting them with playing a positive role throughout her marriage.

Drawing from her personal experience, she advised singles not to overlook warning signs when it comes to their relationship with a possible spouse’s family.

“If you’re not married and you meet your potential father-in-law and mother-in-law and they really don’t like you, don’t even try it,” she said.

She stressed that many people underestimate how much influence in-laws can have on a marriage, warning that such situations often become more significant over time.

“Some people get into that situation and think it’s not a big deal. Well, it’s a big deal,” she added.
