“I’m Not Going to Come on a Podcast and Start Discussing My Ex-Wife” - Yul Edochie Declares

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked reactions after declaring that he would never use a podcast platform to discuss his former wife, insisting that he is “a man, a solid man.”

Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has sparked reactions online after making a bold statement about his decision not to publicly discuss his former wife, May Edochie, during recent appearances.

The actor, who has remained at the centre of public conversations surrounding his past marriage and family life, reportedly made the comment while speaking about the boundaries he has chosen to maintain when it comes to his personal relationships. Yul stated that he would not use a podcast platform to sit down and discuss his former wife, insisting that he considers himself a man who knows how to handle certain personal matters privately.

“I’m not going to come on a podcast and start discussing my ex-wife. I’m a man, a solid man.”

His statement has since generated mixed reactions across social media, particularly because his marriage to May Edochie has been the subject of intense public interest for years.

The actor and his former wife have both been involved in public conversations surrounding their relationship, with their marital history becoming one of the most widely discussed celebrity family matters in Nigeria. However, Yul’s latest comment appears to suggest that he is drawing a line when it comes to discussing his former partner on public platforms.

The comments have once again reignited conversations about celebrity relationships, privacy, and whether public figures should discuss their former partners after a highly publicized separation.

For Yul, however, his message appears to be clear: whatever may have happened in his former marriage, he does not intend to turn podcast appearances into platforms for discussing his ex-wife.
