According to Kie Kie, her house rent expired in September, just months before her wedding scheduled for January. Faced with the choice of renewing her lease or moving in with her fiancé, Tunji Ilori, she chose the latter. By then, their introduction ceremony had already taken place, and the couple was firmly committed to each other. However, she noted that the church was unaware of their arrangement, which complicated the situation, as she was actively involved in the choir at the time.

Reflecting on her journey, Kie Kie admitted she once feared marriage, worrying about the responsibilities and changes it would bring. Through prayer and self-reflection, she overcame those fears and eventually tied the knot with Tunji Ilori in February 2020. Their union has since been blessed with a daughter, Oluwashonaolami Olori, born in November 2022.
