Lagos ADC Governorship Candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour Announces Death of His Mother

Lagos ADC governorship candidate Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour is mourning the loss of his beloved mother, which has led to an outpouring of heartfelt condolences from political leaders, supporters, and well-wishers across the country.

Lagos State governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour, has announced the passing of his mother, Mrs. Nkechi Stella Rhodes-Vivour (née Waboso).

The sad news was shared in a statement on the politician’s official social media pages, with the family confirming her passing and paying tribute to her life and legacy. The statement described the late Mrs. Rhodes-Vivour as a loving wife, devoted mother and cherished grandmother whose kindness, strength and unflinching love left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Details of funeral arrangements to be announced at a later date.

Political leaders, friends, supporters and well-wishers across the country have been pouring out their condolences since the announcement. Among those who reacted was former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, who extended his heartfelt sympathies to Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour and his family, praying for God to grant them the strength to bear the painful loss and for the late matriarch’s soul to rest in peace.
