The renowned cleric made the statement while ministering at the dedication of Dreamland, the newly completed worship centre of Master’s Place International Church in Warri, Delta State. Addressing the congregation, Oyedepo encouraged believers not to place their ultimate hope in political systems or material possessions, insisting that genuine peace is found only through a relationship with God.
“No government in this world can give you peace, neither can you find it in the market. It is only God that can give you peace,” he said.
The bishop explained that while governments have important responsibilities in society, lasting inner peace cannot be guaranteed by any administration or achieved through worldly pursuits. According to him, true peace comes from God and remains available to those who put their trust in Him regardless of the circumstances around them.
