In a new statement, Peter Said;
“Dear Family, Friends, and Fans, I’m making it official. November 18th is no longer my birthday celebration date. Please note that I will not be accepting any messages or gifts on that day.
“My birthday will now be celebrated on November 30th. This is a personal decision, and I truly appreciate your understanding. Thank you all.”
Although the singer did not explain the reason behind the decision, many fans have linked it to the long-running feud between him, his twin brother Paul, and their elder brother and former manager, Jude Okoye.
The announcement comes amid years of public disagreements involving the Okoye family over music royalties, management, and business dealings, which ultimately led to the breakup of the iconic P-Square group despite a brief reunion in 2021.
Peter’s decision immediately divided social media. While some supporters described it as a personal choice he has every right to make, others argued that a person’s actual date of birth cannot be changed, with many viewing the move as a symbolic attempt to distance himself from his twin brother.
