While some followers were stunned by the amount, others questioned whether the wedding might have brought the newlyweds financial benefits that made the huge cost worthwhile.

One TikTok user, Larry_X, asked: “You spend 300 million and collect 400 million house who gain now.”

Another user, Armstrong, appeared convinced that Peller still came out on top, writing: “You gain pass that 300m Guyyy.”

Although there is no confirmation from Peller that he recovered N1 billion from the wedding, the comments show just how much speculation the celebration has generated.

Peller and Jarvis’ wedding was undoubtedly one of the most talked-about celebrity events, attracting entertainers, influencers, socialites and other prominent personalities. From the elaborate ceremony and celebrity-filled guest list to the expensive aso-ebi and lavish preparations, the wedding had all the ingredients of a major Nigerian celebrity celebration.
