"Peter Obi Has Never Appreciated Me" – Isaac Fayose Fumes, Declares Love for Tinubu
Businessman and social commentator Isaac Fayose has expressed disappointment that Peter Obi and his son have yet to acknowledge his support during the 2023 election, while declaring his admiration for President Bola Tinubu and his son, Seyi Tinubu, after a viral meeting with them sparked backlash.

The younger brother of former Ekiti State Governor Ayo Fayose did not hold back in his latest video, where he responded to critics who attacked him over a recent meeting with Seyi Tinubu, Cubana Chief Priest, and other APC-aligned figures.
According to him, he has made significant personal sacrifices for Peter Obi's campaign, including spending his own money, providing accommodation for supporters at his hotel, and even participating in protests.
Yet, despite all his contributions, he claimed Obi and his son have never reached out to appreciate him. He said, "Do you know how much I spent on the last election? Do you know how much I spent on your Obi? I even gave you people my hotel. I even came to the protest".
Fayose contrasted Obi's alleged silence with the respect shown by Seyi Tinubu during their meeting. He described the President's son as a "good boy" who removed his cap and appreciated him, a gesture he felt was lacking from the Obi camp.
He also expressed admiration for President Tinubu himself, declaring that he loves the President "with all my heart". His words have sparked fresh debate among Nigerians, with some supporting his stance and others accusing him of being disloyal to the Obidient movement.
In a previous post, Fayose had attempted to calm the storm, insisting that he remains "100% Obidient" and that his relationship with APC figures does not mean he has abandoned Obi.
He explained that his meeting with Seyi Tinubu took place after an interview with Arise News, adding that they prayed together for the President and for themselves.
"I love Tinubu; there is no hate in my DNA, and they accept my decision to vote and campaign for my own candidate, Peter Obi, and we still remain family," he had written.
However, his latest outburst suggests his patience has worn thin. Fayose warned that if Obi and his supporters continue to disregard his efforts, he could withdraw his support entirely and even begin campaigning for Tinubu in future elections.
"I can withdraw my support for Peter Obi. If I want, I can start campaigning for President Tinubu. I'm a Yoruba man, and I love President Tinubu and his son," he declared.
He also fired back at Obidients who attacked him, saying, "You people are not even worth it. You are there waiting for my own people to liberate you when you can liberate yourselves".
