In a video shared online, Olunloyo claimed she received the information from what she described as a “trusted” and “very reliable” source, alleging that doctors were considering amputating both of Sam Larry’s legs in a bid to save his life.
According to her, “Sam Larry is in a very critical condition and he may have to be amputated, both legs.”
She explained that the information reached her on July 4, adding that medical personnel were reportedly weighing the option of a double amputation due to the severity of his injuries. Reflecting on the reported development, Olunloyo referenced the late singer Mohbad, saying the situation reminded her of the viral image of the singer sitting in a wheelchair after an alleged assault.
“The only thing I remember is Mohbad sitting there on that wheelchair being attacked, and I just said to myself, ‘Oh my God, Sam Larry will have to sit on that wheelchair for the rest of his life if they have to do that,’” she said.
Olunloyo added that she had not received confirmation that the alleged procedure had been carried out, explaining that she was still awaiting a response from her source. She further claimed that Sam Larry sustained severe head injuries and a broken neck in the reported crash. According to her, he was allegedly the only survivor, while the other occupants of the vehicle reportedly lost their lives.
Neither Sam Larry nor his representatives have issued a statement regarding the severity of his injuries. There has also been no official confirmation from medical authorities to back up the claims made by Olunloyo but it sure has stirred reactions online.
The allegations have since generated intense debate across social media, with many users urging the public to await official confirmation before drawing conclusions.
