“She Died at a Police Station” - Temitope Osoba’s Fiancé Breaks Silence on Actress’ Death at 40

The circumstances surrounding Nollywood actress Temitope Osoba’s death have taken a fresh turn after her fiancé, Prophet Itunu Onadeko, shared a different account of what happened in her final hours.

Onadeko, in an interview with Celestial Reality Check, claimed that Osoba died at a police station in Ikorodu, Lagos State, a claim that differs from reports linking her death to complications from her previous battle with breast cancer.

According to the prophet, he received a midnight phone call from an unidentified person informing him that the actress had died at a police station. He said he did not know the exact station where the incident allegedly occurred but decided to report himself at a nearby police station after receiving the shocking news.

Onadeko also addressed several allegations that have circulated following Osoba’s death. He denied claims that the actress was poisoned or maltreated and also rejected reports that she was prevented from accessing her car.

The prophet further dismissed allegations concerning funds raised for Osoba’s cancer treatment. According to him, the money donated for her treatment was paid directly into Osoba’s personal account and he never had access to the funds. He also denied claims that the money was diverted or used to establish or develop his church.

While Onadeko acknowledged that Osoba had previously battled breast cancer and undergone surgery, he maintained that cancer was not responsible for her death. He also revealed that the actress had struggled with smoking and said he had encouraged her to quit.

According to him, Osoba left his church approximately three weeks before her death. He added that after learning of her passing, he contacted only one of her uncles.

The conflicting accounts have raised fresh questions about what happened to the actress before her death. While previous reports focused on her history with breast cancer, her fiancé’s latest claims have introduced another version of events, one that has yet to be independently verified.

At the moment, the exact circumstances and official cause of Temitope Osoba’s death remain unclear.

The actress, who was 40 years old, is expected to be buried on Thursday, August 13, 2026, in Iperu Remo, Ogun State. As fans, colleagues and loved ones continue to mourn her, questions surrounding her final moments remain unanswered.
