This Ecuador Couples Have Now Been Certified The Oldest Married Couple In The World
Julio Cesar Mora Tapia, 110, and Waldramina Maclovia Quinteros Reyes, 104, from Ecuador, who have been married for 79 years, has been certified as the oldest married couple in the world.
Waldramina was born on October 16, 1915, and Julio Cesar was born on March 10, 1910. They became a couple after her sister's husband, who is Julio Cesar's cousin, introduced them to each other.
The couple were recently certified the oldest married couple, with a summed up age of 214 years and 358 days - according to Guinness World Records.
After dating for some time, they ended up getting married seven years later on February 7, 1941. They gave birth to five kids. The oldest son sadly died at the age of 58.
As at the time of writing this report, Cesar and Waldramina have a massive family which consists of 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 9 great-great-grandchildren.
