Veteran actor Chiwetalu Agu has once again found himself in the middle of online conversations, as he made controversial statements about the current state of the economy in Nigeria and how it affects everyday family life.
In a video currently making the rounds, the actor expressed concern about the rising cost of living in Nigeria and the pressure it is putting on families trying to make ends meet. He said, “Pampers prices dey increase, school fees price dey increase, fuel price dey increase, but you wey no guide dey release, don’t worry, you’ll cry more than that baby”
The topic has quickly gained traction because it reflects what many Nigerians are currently experiencing. With the rising costs of food, rent, and other necessities, his message resonates with many people trying to survive in today's economy.
The general public believes that the inability to afford basic human needs in Nigeria warrants attention and hopes more celebrities will use their voices for this cause.
