We Are Tired of Condolence Speeches, We Need Big Actions – Actress Kehinde Bankole Tells FG

Kehinde Bankole is tired. She is tired of hearing government officials offer condolences after every attack. She is tired of the same speeches, the same promises, the same nothing. What she wants is action. Big action.

The actress made this known in a post that has since gone viral. She did not hold back. She said that Nigerians are dying every day, and all the government does is release statements. Condolences do not bring back the dead. Condolences do not stop bandits. Condolences do not make anyone feel safe. This comes after the recent attacks in Oyo State, where bandits killed a teacher, abducted seven others, and left parents terrified for their children. It also comes after countless other attacks across the country that have claimed thousands of lives.

Kehinde is not alone in her frustration, Many Nigerians feel the same way. They are tired of hearing "we will get them" and "our hearts go out to the families." They want to see soldiers on the ground. They want to see bandits arrested. They want to see results.

Reactions have been pouring in and Some people are applauding Kehinde for speaking truth to power. They say that celebrities have a platform, and they should use it to demand change, not just post about their latest movies.

Others have criticized her, saying that her post will not change anything. The government knows Nigerians are suffering. They just do not care. A few Instagram posts will not move them.

Kehinde has not responded to the critics. She said what she wanted to say, and she is standing by it. The government has been put on notice. Condolences are not enough, Nigeria needs big actions now.
