“Why Does God Allow Children to Have Cancer?” - Bobrisky Reflects on the Pain of Losing a Child as He Mourns Alexx Ekubo

Nigerian socialite Bobrisky has shared an emotional reflection on the pain of losing a child, using the death of Nollywood actor Alexx Ekubo to express sympathy for grieving parents and question the heartbreaking reality of childhood cancer.

“Why Does God Allow Children to Have Cancer?” - Bobrisky Reflects on the Pain of Losing a Child as He Mourns Alexx Ekubo

Taking to his Instagram Story, Bobrisky reposted a video showing a young child battling cancer, accompanied by the thought-provoking question:

“If God exists, why does He allow children to have cancer?”

Bobrisky reacted to the emotional clip by admitting that seeing children suffer from the disease deeply affects him. He used the medium to pray for the young boy in the video, asking God to grant him healing and spare him from such a painful ordeal.

In another emotional post, Bobrisky revealed that since the passing of actor Alexx Ekubo, his thoughts have constantly been with the late actor’s mother. According to him, losing a child especially one in his 40s is a kind of pain no parent should ever have to endure.

He wrote:

“Ever since Alex passed away, the person who has been on my mind the most is his mom. Losing a child in his 40s is a pain no parent should have to endure. Only God can comfort and strengthen that woman. RIP, Alex.”

Bobrisky’s posts have shifted conversations away from celebrity headlines to the emotional burden carried by parents who lose their children, whether through illness or other tragic circumstances.

Bobrisky’s emotional message serves as a heartfelt tribute to bereaved parents and a call for prayers for children battling life-threatening illnesses, while honoring the memory of Alexx Ekubo.
