Popular Nigerian TikToker Peller has sparked reactions online after calling out an unnamed individual he referred to as “001” over an alleged failure to respond to his wedding invitation.
The content creator, who is set to tie the knot on August 24, expressed frustration in a viral video, accusing some people he invited to his wedding of deliberately delaying their responses despite allegedly benefiting from his support in the past. According to Peller, some of those he reached out to have continued to give excuses and postpone their response, leaving him disappointed by what he described as their ungrateful attitude.
“See, let me tell you guys something. I swear, you see those some of you people that I am sending invitations for my wedding, that you are doing as if, ‘Tomorrow, you will bring it. Tomorrow…’ You see all of you like that, that you have used me,” he said.
Peller, however, appeared to hint that he would confront the issue after his wedding, warning that he would eventually speak out about his experiences with people he believes have taken advantage of him.
Although he did not reveal the identity of the person he was addressing, Peller repeatedly referred to them as “001,” accusing the individual of being a “user” who had allegedly benefited from him without reciprocating his support.
“You are a user, 001. Very big user. They don’t want to show up for person, but you… You are using person. You are a user! To whom it may concern, you are a user!” he fumed.
The TikToker insisted that the situation was not about being hurt by the person’s decision, but rather about what he perceived as disrespectful behaviour.
Peller ended his rant with a warning that he could publicly expose those he believes have used him once his wedding celebrations are over.
His comments have since generated reactions from social media users, with many speculating about the identity of the mysterious “001” and wondering whether Peller will eventually reveal the person’s name.
