“You Bought Your Grammy Award” - Brymo Fires Back at Burna Boy Over Song Lyric

Nigerian singer Brymo has reignited his long-running feud with Burna Boy after responding to a lyric in which the Grammy-winning star appeared to reference him in a recent song.

Speaking during an appearance on the NotJustOk podcast, Brymo addressed Burna Boy’s line, “Hustle make you no fall off like Brymo,” making it clear that he has no interest in mentioning the Afrobeats superstar in his own music. According to Brymo, Burna Boy is not significant enough to inspire any of his lyrics.

“I told him your name no go ever appear for my song. You’re not that important. Who’s your mate?” he said.

The singer then made the unverified allegation that Burna Boy’s Grammy Award was bought.

“You won a Grammy, and so what? It was bought now. I’ve been told to pay $10,000 for a BET Award before,” Brymo claimed.

Brymo did not provide any evidence to support the allegation, and there is no public evidence that Burna Boy’s Grammy Award was purchased. Burna Boy has also not publicly responded to the claims.
