Popular comedian and actress Real Warri Pikin has praised the Nigeria Police Force following the rescue efforts involving the abducted family members of former Minister of Power, Bayo Adelabu, urging security agencies to channel the same urgency toward rescuing the schoolchildren and teachers kidnapped in Oyo State.
Reacting to reports of the successful rescue operation and the swift response by security agencies, the comedian applauded the police for demonstrating that kidnappers can be tracked and victims can be recovered when adequate resources and determination are deployed. However, she questioned why dozens of pupils and teachers abducted from schools in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State remain in captivity weeks after the incident.
Real Warri Pikin’s appeal comes amid growing public frustration over the fate of the 39 schoolchildren and seven teachers kidnapped during the Oriire Local Government attack in Oyo State.
