“My Entire Experience With Sandra Edoho Was Traumatic” - Toke Makinwa Fires Back Amid Backlash Over Viral Comments

The recent controversial video involving Sandra Edoho and singer Chike has resurfaced old tensions between Sandra and Toke Makinwa. In the recording, the singer expressed concern that their alleged romantic involvement could negatively impact his business, as many of their clients are married. Sandra, who runs an interior design firm, assured him, referring to a 2019 incident in which Toke publicly called her out on social media for a poor execution of a design project at her home.

Sandra claimed that instead of destroying her reputation, the public backlash actually attracted a major client and boosted her social media following. Chike then asked, “You worked for her?'' to which Sandra responded 

 ‘’Work for her? How? She can't even afford me''. 

Reacting online, Toke initially slammed Sandra, calling her “ungrateful,” which drew criticism from some social media users who felt her response was unnecessarily harsh.  

In response to the backlash, Toke doubled down, writing:

“My entire experience with Sandra Edoho was traumatic. This has nothing to do with her personal life.”  

She further described the incident as condescending, personal and out of order. She clarified that the issue stems from a past personal/professional experience with Sandra rather than the current controversy involving Sandra’s estranged marriage to Frank Edoho.  

Online reactions remain divided: some support Toke’s right to speak on her own experience, while others believe the timing of her comments has intensified an already messy public scandal.
