"When Praying for People in Psychiatric Wards, Include Them" – Yvonne Jegede Lists 3 Types of Tinubu Supporters

Nollywood actress Yvonne Jegede has sparked fresh online debate after sharing a satirical post categorizing President Tinubu's supporters into three distinct groups.

"When Praying for People in Psychiatric Wards, Include Them" – Yvonne Jegede Lists 3 Types of Tinubu Supporters

Yvonne Jegede is not one to keep her opinions to herself, and her latest post has once again divided the internet. The actress took to social media to share what she called "3 Types of Tinubu supporters," using her signature blend of humor and sharp criticism to describe their attitudes toward the current administration. Her post quickly went viral, with many Nigerians either nodding in agreement or firing back at her for what they saw as disrespect toward the President and his followers. She did not hold back in her descriptions, and her categorization has since become a major talking point across social media platforms. According to Jegede, the first group is "the 'we don enter am' ones," whom she described as individuals who know in their hearts that nothing makes sense but have ties they cannot break. These are people who remain supportive despite feeling disappointed, often due to personal, social, or political connections they find difficult to abandon. The second group she called "the believers," those who still hold hope that policies or governance outcomes will improve over time, maybe even after another tenure. These are the optimists who believe that things will eventually get better, even if current realities appear uncertain. The third and most controversial category she labelled "the delusional ones," individuals she said live in a bubble and are completely disconnected from reality. Her advice for this group was biting: "just be praying for them, when you are praying for people in the psychiatric wards, include them". The post has sparked intense debate, with some praising her for speaking truth to power and others accusing her of being disrespectful and elitist. Many have taken to the comments section to share their own views on which category they or their loved ones fall into. Yvonne has not responded to the backlash, and she likely does not feel the need to defend herself. Her post was clearly satirical, but it touched on a real divide in Nigerian politics, the gap between those who support the government unconditionally, those who hope for change, and those who are simply trapped by circumstances. Whether people agree with her or not, she has succeeded in getting Nigerians to reflect on their own political allegiances and the reasons behind them.
