“No Smoking, No Nudity” - Spyro Reveals the Strict Christian Rules Anyone Must Follow to Work With Him

Singer Spyro has once again made his Christian values clear, revealing the strict rules anyone must follow before they can feature in his music videos or collaborate with him.

“No Smoking, No Nudity” - Spyro Reveals the Strict Christian Rules Anyone Must Follow to Work With Him

Nigerian singer Spyro has opened up about the staunch Christian values that shape both his music and the people he chooses to work with, revealing that his standards are non-negotiable.

Speaking in a recent interview with TVC, the hitmaker behind "Who Is Your Guy?" made it clear that certain things have no place in his music videos or creative projects.

“You can’t be in a video with me, and you’re smoking. That can’t happen. You can’t be in a video with me, and you’re naked. That won’t happen. I have rules and regulations for working with people,” he said. Spyro explained that his standards go beyond music videos. According to him, he also refuses to feature on songs whose lyrics or message conflict with his beliefs.

“I can’t be on a song that is not clean, to start with.”

The singer also shared an interesting story about his collaboration with the fast-rising artist Shoday on their song "Sweet". He revealed that after noticing the way the song was being promoted online, he reached out to the singer with some heartfelt advice.

I said, ‘Shoday, give your life to Christ.’ And he said I should continue my own while he faces his.”

Despite Shoday’s response, Spyro said he remains optimistic, believing that everyone can eventually come to know Christ.

“Even if he’s not with Christ, he’s coming to Christ. Until every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That’s why I’m in this industry. It’s a gradual process.”

Spyro has consistently described himself as an artist whose faith comes before fame, often speaking about using his platform to inspire people rather than entertain them. His latest comments reinforce his commitment to maintaining Christian values in an industry where such standards are often seen as unconventional.

Whether praised or questioned, it is obvious that Spyro’s music career is guided by his faith, and he has no intention of compromising his beliefs to fit into the mainstream entertainment culture.
