Uriel revealed the incident on her Instagram Story while explaining why she decided to check her DMs after some people suggested that she might be too picky when it comes to relationships. According to the chef, she opened a message from a man who began by showering her with compliments and expressing his admiration for her. The admirer reportedly wrote:

“Hi Uriel, I’ve admired you for years. You’re beautiful. I can love you in more ways than you’ve ever been loved.”

Intrigued by the opening message, Uriel said she decided to continue reading to see where the conversation would lead. However, things reportedly took an unexpectedly funny turn when the man followed up by telling her that he had no money and could not provide her with the things she wanted.

That was apparently the moment Uriel decided she had heard enough. Sharing her reaction, the chef humorously revealed that she immediately blocked the admirer.

“My finger hit block so fast I nearly dislocated my thumb. In this economy??? I blocked him in Jesus’ name.”

Uriel later shared a photo of her bandaged thumb, joking that she had apparently injured herself while blocking the man.

“I blocked him so hard I hurt my thumb.”
