Psquare-Jude Saga: Media Personality Asiwaju Lanre Appeals to God Ahead of the Day of Judgement

Media personality Asiwaju Lanre has weighed in on the ongoing P-Square family feud, issuing a solemn prayer and appealing to God ahead of what he described as the "day of judgement," as the bitter dispute between Peter Okoye and his brothers continues to unfold.

Psquare-Jude Saga: Media Personality Asiwaju Lanre Appeals to God Ahead of the Day of Judgement

The veteran broadcaster took to social media to share his thoughts on the escalating crisis, expressing concern over how far the rift has gone and calling for divine intervention to guide the outcome.

The feud has reached a fever pitch, with Peter Okoye releasing a multi-part video series detailing explosive allegations of threats, financial mismanagement, and manipulation, including revelations that Jude allegedly threatened to kill Peter's wife, Lola, and called his son a bastard in front of him.

The conflict has drawn sharp reactions from prominent public figures, with businessman Wale Jana describing Jude as a "terrible human being" who "got greedy and started milking the sweat of his brothers," while also cautioning that Peter's emotional nature has made him "destructive" in his approach.

Asiwaju Lanre's prayer comes amid a growing chorus of voices calling for reconciliation and healing.

Collins Ajereh, father of Mavin Records boss Don Jazzy, recently penned a heartfelt message to Peter and his wife Lola, expressing sympathy for what they have endured and praying for divine intervention.

The elder Ajereh's intervention stood in contrast to the fiery exchanges online, offering a more measured tone and urging the family to find peace. Comedian Craze Clown also shared an emotional reaction, stating that the saga has taught him that "family sometimes isn't all you've got" and praising Peter's resilience.

The feud has had tangible consequences beyond public drama, with the Okoye brothers' legal battles reportedly freezing over a hundred million naira in court cases. As businessman Wale Jana warned, "PSQUARE IS BROKE because they cannot access their funds".

The legal proceedings, which began when Peter filed a petition with the EFCC accusing his brothers of financial mismanagement, have now enveloped the entire family in a web of litigation that threatens to drain any remaining goodwill and resources.

With their catalogue and royalties tied up in court, the future of the P-Square legacy hangs in the balance.

As the public waits to see if a resolution is possible, Asiwaju Lanre's prayer reflects the hope that the truth will be revealed and that justice will prevail. The P-Square saga serves as a cautionary tale about the dangers of mixing family and business without clear boundaries and proper documentation.

Until the brothers find a way to address the issues of management, ownership, and trust with finality, the shadow of the dispute will continue to loom over one of Africa's most successful music groups.
