Just four months after their lavish wedding, former Big Brother Naija housemate Emmanuel Umoh and his Cameroonian wife, Cilia Nyanghe, have found themselves at the centre of breakup rumours.

The speculation began after eagle-eyed social media users noticed a series of changes on the couple’s Instagram accounts. According to reports, Emmanuel and Cilia have unfollowed each other, while photos documenting their relationship and wedding have reportedly disappeared from their pages. Emmanuel has also reportedly deleted posts featuring his wife, including content connected to the house they reportedly purchased after relocating to Texas.  

The sudden social media cleanup naturally sent fans into detective mode, with many questioning what could have happened between the newlyweds. The situation has also drawn attention because their marriage is still relatively new. The couple reportedly got married in April 2026, making the latest developments barely four months after they exchanged vows. 

Adding more fuel to the rumours, reports claim that both parties have made their accounts private while no longer following each other.

For now, neither Emmanuel nor Cilia has publicly confirmed that they are getting divorced or have separated. Their social media activity may certainly suggest that something has changed, but unfollowing each other and deleting pictures alone does not prove that a marriage has ended.
