“My Life And Safety Are Not Guaranteed!” - Actress Oluebube Obio Claims That She Was Forced to Attend APC Campaign
Nollywood actress Oluebube Obio has raised eyebrows after claiming she was forced to attend an APC campaign event, alleging that her safety was at stake and asking her supporters to pray for her.
Nollywood actress Oluebube Obio has broken her silence after facing backlash over her appearance at an APC campaign event in Bayelsa State, claiming that there was much more to her presence at the political gathering than Nigerians saw.
Videos from the event recently made the rounds online, showing the young actress at the APC gathering, where she was welcomed on stage and participated in the programme, including presenting awards. Her appearance immediately got people talking, with some Nigerians questioning why the actress was attending a political campaign. But Oluebube has now revealed that, according to her, she did not attend the event entirely by choice.
Reacting to the criticism, the actress said there were circumstances surrounding her appearance that the public did not know about. She wrote:
“I was actually forced to be in such settings, my life and safety is not guaranteed. If you watch the video closely, I myself felt so much discomfort and stressed up.”
The actress also alleged that she was being blackmailed, promising to reveal the identities of those allegedly behind it when the time is right.
Oluebube continued:
“When the time is right I will expose the people blackmailing me; the least you can do is to pray for me.”
However, the actress did not disclose who allegedly forced her to attend the event, who she claims was blackmailing her, or exactly what she believes puts her life and safety at risk.
The actress’ statement has also left fans asking questions about what allegedly happened behind the scenes and why she felt unable to refuse attending the gathering. For now, Oluebube has asked her supporters to pray for her, while saying she will reveal more when she believes the time is right.
And Nigerians are waiting…
