“You’ll Become a Billionaire in 6 Months If You Follow My Teachings” - Pastor Korede Komaiya

Pastor Korede Komaiya, lead pastor of Masterplace International Church, has sparked conversations online after claiming that people who follow his teachings could become millionaires within 90 days and cross into billionaire status within six months. The claim was made during a Sunday service, in a video that has resurfaced online.

Speaking to his congregation about financial success, Komaiya emphasised the importance of speed, insisting that those who practise what he teaches could experience extraordinary financial breakthroughs within a short period.

“If you do what I teach, you will be a millionaire in 90 days, if not shorter. If you do what I teach, you will cross billions in six months.”

The pastor then pointed to what he described as positive testimonies from members of the church, repeatedly telling the congregation to consider the “good reports” coming from his teachings. Komaiya went on to draw an analogy between life and a race, stressing that speed is essential for anyone who wants to succeed.

“Life is a race and in every race, speed is a determinant.”

He further declared that speed was “critical” and “cardinal” because, according to him, everyone is running a race in life. The pastor also referenced the biblical account of Prophet Elijah in 1 Kings 18:46, where Elijah is described as receiving supernatural strength from God to outrun Ahab’s chariot.

“The hand of the Lord came upon Elijah, giving him supernatural strength. He gathered up his loins, outran.”

He connected the biblical account to the idea of divine acceleration, suggesting that when God’s hand is upon a person, they can overtake others and achieve success at an extraordinary pace.

His remarks have since attracted attention online, with many Nigerians debating his bold claims about achieving millionaire and billionaire status within such short periods.

While some may interpret the statement as a message about faith, divine acceleration and financial transformation, others are likely to question the practicality of becoming a millionaire in 90 days or a billionaire within six months simply by following a set of teachings.
