National Anthem - Nigeria National Anthem Music

We are excited to present to you, Nigeria National Anthem. The anthem was composed by Pa Odiase, which was adopted in 1978, replaced the country's previous national anthem, "Nigeria, We Hail Thee".

The Federal Republic of Nigeria is a country in West Africa, it is the most populated country in Africa. Nigeria is a federal republic comprising 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory, where the capital, Abuja. Nigeria has been home to several indigenous pre-colonial states and kingdoms.

Moreover, the lyrics of this Nigeria National Anthem were created by 5 people such as P.O. Aderibigbe, John A. Ilechukwu, Dr. Sota Omoigui, Eme tim Akpan and B.A. Ogunnaike. The words were put to music by the Nigerian Police Band under the directorship of Benedict P. Odiase (1934–2013).
