Slave Driver is a song recorded by reggae music pioneer Bob Marley during his days of The Wailers. This sound track is the second song that appears on that body of work tagged "Catch A Fire".

The message in this song is very clear. To Bob Marley even though slave trade was abolished, the people are still not free because there are other factors still chaining them down and that includes abject poverty.

Bob Marley however said in this song "Slave Driver" that now the “table is turn” on the slave driver, as the people are waking up from their “illiteracy” in a revolution against the system, and the driver is going to get burn for their continued mistreatment of African people over centuries.
