Chocolate City Unveils New Artist Major AJ With "Retroverse EP". "The future of Afrobeat in Africa is in safe hands" and Ajogwu Boluwatife Vincent, with the stage name Major AJ is one of the consistent budding Afro-fusion artists that's making this statement more of a reality than prophecy who taps into his songwriting inspiration from a diverse exposure of soaking up amalgam of soul, R&B, pop and of course Afrobeats to create a unique sound.
The renowned entertainment company in Africa, Chocolate city unveiled the artist on the 15th of July along with his eponymous EP titled "Retroverse"; an impeccable collection of soulful and cinematic sounds.
The Benue State Afro-fusion artiste, Major AJ hails from Okpokwu Local government but spent his youthful years in Kainji town, Niger state. He lost his father who was a soldier at a very small age before his passion for music was ignited.

Major AJ is a computer science graduate of the prestigious University of Ilorin where he was able to showcase his talent and won different recognitions and awards ranging from; Hype Next Rated and Artist of the year, Kwara Outstanding Youths Award, Best Rap Artist, Betamalt Online Rap Competition, Hennessy VS Class Lagos Finalist 2018 just to mention a few and has since then headlined shows across Nigeria ranging from
Dremo Campus Tour Unilorin, Trybe Ark Fest, and Ilorin Walk on Water Fashion Show.
