Davido Announces First London Festival, Set to Curate Full Lineup
Davido has unveiled his debut “Davido & Friends Festival” in London, where he will headline and personally curate the event lineup.
Nigerian superstar Davido has announced plans to host his first-ever festival in London, marking a new milestone in his career as both a performer and curator.
The singer revealed that the event, titled “Davido & Friends Festival,” will take place at Crystal Palace Bowl on August 14. Beyond headlining, Davido will also be responsible for putting together the full lineup for the day, making it a more personal and artist-driven showcase.
He confirmed that the show will be his only outdoor performance in London this summer. Presale tickets are scheduled to go live on March 26, with general ticket sales opening a day later.
The festival is part of a wider event series known as Palace Bowl Presents, which will run from July 31 to August 16 and feature different global acts across multiple dates. Other performers already announced for the series include gospel stars Tasha Cobbs and Kirk Franklin, who are set to headline on August 2.
Davido’s event has been described as a UK festival exclusive, with the rest of the lineup yet to be revealed. The “& Friends” title has already sparked curiosity among fans, with many speculating about possible guest appearances.
The venue itself adds to the significance of the announcement. Crystal Palace Bowl, one of London’s historic outdoor stages, is known for its unique amphitheatre design and capacity to host large crowds, making it a fitting location for a major music event.
With this move, Davido continues to expand his global footprint, stepping beyond performance into curating live music experiences on an international stage.
