UK-based Nigerian Tech Founder Accuses Wife of Cheating After Paying Her Tuition and Funding Their Lifestyle

According to posts circulating on X, Ugo and his wife married in 2023. They welcomed their first child together in 2024, appearing to many online as a young couple building a beautiful future together.

During her pregnancy, Ugo reportedly shared content about his commitment to giving his wife a comfortable life. He allegedly spoke about building a pregnancy app for her and supporting her dreams while they adjusted to life abroad.

After relocating to the United Kingdom, Ugo took on the responsibility of paying her school fees, supporting the family financially, and maintaining her lifestyle. He also reportedly bought her a car as a push gift after their child's birth and even created an app dedicated to her and their baby.

But in a shocking turn, Ugo recently took to social media on his X account https://x.com/heismric?s=21, accusing his wife of cheating on him with another man inside their home while he was away working to support the family. 

According to the now-viral claims, she wasn't just cheating; the baby she gave birth to belongs to the guy, allegedly. After he found out, instead of being remorseful, she teamed up with her family to bring Ugo back to Nigeria. Her family tried to frame Ugo and accused him of false Domestic Violence and demanded that he continue to pay her school fees. 

The social services took up the information and carried out investigations; they found that all the accusations were false. The plans to bring Ugo back to Nigeria backfired on his Wife (now ex-wife), who has been deported to Lagos. 

He also alleged that he knows the man involved and claimed the individual has continued viewing his social media posts, adding another layer of public humiliation to the ordeal. There are also new claims that Ugo was also cheating on his wife while she was pregnant back in 2024, but the claims are not verified. 

The story has sparked massive debate online. While many users sympathised with Ugo and praised him for his sacrifices, others questioned why a private family matter was shared on social media. Some also used the moment to discuss the dangers of overextending financially in relationships. In contrast, others urged compassion, reminding people that only one side of the story has been publicly shared.

Adding to the online conversation, some users resurfaced old posts allegedly showing Ugo mocking another man who had previously gone public with a similar marital betrayal, leading to claims of “karma” from some corners of the internet.
