“Nigeria Is Bleeding” - Bro Shaggi Laments, Accuses Leaders of Failing the People

“Nigeria Is Bleeding” - Bro Shaggi Laments, Accuses Leaders of Failing the People

Popular content creator and actor Samuel Animashaun Perry, popularly known as Bro Shaggi, has stirred the internet after lamenting about the increasing insecurity in Nigeria.

In a strongly worded post, he lamented that the country is “bleeding” as many of those in power seem more focused on personal gain than on addressing the nation’s pressing problems. The most painful aspect of the situation, Bro Shaggi said, is the thinking that leaders are more interested in “taking” than doing what is right for the people. His remarks come amid growing public anxiety over insecurity, with recent incidents of abduction and attacks on schools affecting communities nationwide.

The comedian’s statement resonated with many Nigerians online, as supporters lauded him for speaking frankly on issues concerning everyday people. Others echoed his sentiments, saying the country needs better leadership, accountability and urgent steps to tackle insecurity and save lives.

Brodda Shaggi now joins the growing number of celebrities who have used their voice and platform to call out the injustice being reportedly carried out by the current government. The emotional statement has sparked reactions as Nigerians continue to demand action on the issues of insecurity and governance.
