Ofego Biography: Ofego is a Nigerian recording and performing artist known for his soulful and passionate vocals. He skillfully blends various genres into contemporary Afrobeat, creating a unique sound characterized by melodious and groovy Afro-Fusion that uplifts and inspires listeners.

Before launching his music career professionally in 2021, Ofego was involved in creating Nigerian jokes online, skit-making, and part-time singing and songwriting. He specializes in Banku Music, a subgenre of Afrobeats created by fellow Nigerian artist Mr. Eazi.

After releasing several singles, including his first major hit "When," Ofego debuted his album "Bankumentation" in November 2022. He followed this with "Time E Be Money," which featured the timeless classic "Oh Boy No Le" in April 2023.

On February 2, 2024, Ofego released his third studio album, "Banku Bounce," which received a nomination for Album of the Year at The Notable Africa Music Awards held in Accra, Ghana, in November 2024. "Banku Bounce" not only won Album of the Year at The NAMA but also earned Ofego the titles of West African Artist of the Year and Songwriter.

In February 2022, Ofego collaborated with his record label, B.O.Y Music. Together, they released the highly successful album "B.O.Y Now For A Lifetime" in July 2024, which produced hits like "Fan Ta," "Shakei Shakei (B.O.Y Anthem Remix)," and "No Be Child's Play," among others.

On January 13, 2025, Ofego released his album "D Girls Dem Daddy." Prior to this project, he contributed his songwriting skills and vocal delivery to DJ Chop Knuckle's groundbreaking album "In The Building," which produced the worldwide anthem "A Miss U," accompanied by an official video directed by Chris Ekios.
