Kunmie - Abeg O Music

Here comes another impressive track from the rising Nigerian Afrobeat singer, Kunmie, which he titles "Abeg O".

Oluwabukunmi Ariyibi Peter, better known on stage as Kunmie, is one of the most gifted Nigerian Afro-soul and Afrobeats singer-songwriters. "Abeg O" is a well-chosen soundtrack. "Abeg O" is a song that must be heard because of its catchy melodies and poignant lyrics.

Kunmie's queries remain the primary source of tension throughout the record since the song depends on repetition and emotional persistence rather than dressing up the worry in complex images. Here, Kunmie does not force confidence into the conclusion; instead, he lets that vulnerability stay unresolved.

Released on August 14, 2026, via ONErpm, "22" is a captivating debut studio album from Nigerian Afro-soul artist Kunmie. This 13-track project powerfully captures the emotional highs and lows of early adulthood, along with the complexities of identity, faith, and survival. By skillfully intertwining these themes, Kunmie delivers an album that is not only intimate but also profoundly relatable.

However, this acronym "Abeg O" is the twelfth track from his recently released studio album, 22 Album, which has thirteen catchy tracks. The gifted beatmakers Kunmie and Wondah are credited with producing this tune.
