Anambra Child Abuse Case: Activist Alleges Arab Financiers Mobilising Funds to Free Suspect

Human rights activist Joe Israel has dropped a bombshell in the Anambra child sexual abuse case, alleging that wealthy Arabian clients are mobilising serious funds to hire a Senior Advocate of Nigeria and influence the legal process to get the suspect released.

Anambra Child Abuse Case: Activist Alleges Arab Financiers Mobilising Funds to Free Suspect

The case involves a 36-year-old woman, identified as Anulika Nwokike, who was arrested on Thursday in Anambra State after videos allegedly showing her using sex toys on her young daughters circulated widely online.

She initially claimed the clips were AI-generated, but later allegedly admitted to producing the content for money, telling investigators she had earned about $300 from the material.

Her husband has publicly denied any knowledge of the activities, saying he only learned of the videos when a friend showed them to him in the market. In a detailed social media statement, Israel Joe warned that the case goes far beyond one mother.

According to him, the woman is part of a wider network of women producing extreme explicit content sold primarily to wealthy foreign buyers, especially "big Arabian guys" and some Indian clients who treat the material as forbidden fantasies they cannot access in their own countries.

He alleged that these international buyers have already learned of the arrest and are mobilising funds to hire a SAN, craft alternative narratives, and offer large inducements to influence the police and prosecutors. "These big guys are mobilising serious funds to get a SAN, paint other narratives and get her out with an extremely giant offer for the police," Joe wrote.

He urged the public to keep close watch on the investigation, warning that "desert money from those desert nations" could be used to secure the woman's release if she is remanded and granted bail.

He specifically called on the police and prosecutors to resist any financial pressure, insisting that all eyes should be on them to ensure justice is served.

The activist further claimed that an online app used for such content remains fully operational, with up to 20 other women engaged in similar activity. He said the women operate within closed WhatsApp groups and specialised websites where participants are paid for carrying out increasingly extreme tasks designed to satisfy clients' preferences.

Joe said he has personally paid to access some of these platforms as part of his investigation and plans further revelations. He also warned parents to check their children's phones, claiming many young people are secretly involved in selling content or performing acts on these sites.

As of Sunday, police had not publicly responded to the specific claims of foreign interference. The investigation continues, with calls growing for a thorough probe that extends beyond the single arrested mother to the broader online exploitation rings allegedly serving international clients.
