She wrote, "I want this woman out of my fucking space!!!!! She is refusing to leave my house, she claims she has nowhere to go and her family is begging me to keep accommodating her because 'she is my mother'".
Adiele explained that her mother's presence has become emotionally triggering and that she is losing her mind, adding, "I hate who I am becoming. My daughter needs me, I want to be sane for her".
In her lengthy post, Adiele detailed a painful childhood marked by early financial responsibility and alleged deception. "My childhood was stolen from me.
I started paying rent at 16, in a house I lived in with her and my siblings," she wrote. She further claimed that her father was sending money to support the family, but her mother concealed it, making them believe he was not contributing.
She also accused her mother of taking the family away from the Catholic Church to what she described as a "demonic church," resulting in the family becoming homeless three times.
Despite working hard and earning what she described as "crazy money," Adiele claimed she has no tangible properties to her name because her mother drained her finances. "I made money, I made crazy money to afford me some landed properties, but this woman drained my every dime.
But she is a 'prayer warrior,'" she wrote sarcastically . The actress's outburst comes just weeks after she publicly cried out for help over her brother's drug addiction and mental health struggles, revealing she has been the primary caregiver and that the responsibility has left her emotionally drained.
Adiele's public airing of family grievances has sparked widespread debate online about parental responsibility and the importance of setting boundaries.
The actress has stated that her priority is protecting her mental health and providing a peaceful environment for her daughter. As of now, her mother has not publicly responded to the allegations.
