The case came up at Snaresbrook Crown Court on Tuesday, September 15, 2026, but the proceedings could not advance as scheduled.
According to court reports, Poco Lee did not enter a plea because the charge sheet was unavailable at the time of the hearing. The court subsequently fixed February 8, 2027, for the next plea and trial preparation hearing, with the trial itself scheduled to begin on March 8, 2027.
The update was disclosed by UK-based media personality Benjamin Kuti, popularly known as Oluomo of Derby, who attended the proceedings.
He urged members of the public to allow the legal process to take its course and avoid making assumptions or passing judgment based on allegations or information circulating publicly. "Everyone is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law, and that principle must be respected throughout the entire process," he said.
Poco Lee, whose real name is Iweh Pascal Odinaka, is facing five sexual offence charges in the United Kingdom, comprising two counts of rape, one count of attempted rape, and two counts of assault by penetration.
The alleged offences reportedly occurred in Tower Hamlets, East London, on July 23, 2026. He first appeared before Thames Magistrates' Court on August 18 before the case was transferred to Snaresbrook Crown Court.
The dancer was granted bail on September 11, 2026, ahead of his September 15 appearance. Following his release from detention, Poco Lee said in a video call shared by social commentator Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan, that he remained confident because he knew he had not committed the offences he was accused of.
He also thanked Afrobeats singer Burna Boy, Rahman Jago, and others for their support during his detention.
Poco Lee travelled to the UK in August to attend the Davido and Friends concert at the Crystal Palace Bowl in London on August 14. His case remains before the UK court, with the plea hearing scheduled for February 8, 2027, and the trial expected to begin on March 8, 2027.
The dancer has maintained his innocence throughout the proceedings.
